Dawning Of The Day ~ Chieftain High D Whistle

Awesome day for a walk and I brought along my new Chieftain whistle. This instrument sounds awesome and is a beautiful piece of engineering. I'm still a whistle newbie, and I'm just beginning to build my repertoire of songs. Here's 'Dawning of the Day' or 'Raglan Road', whichever you fancy.

Thanks for the compliment! =) That Chieftain whistle is a real pain to play though. Its got a wide fipple opening (session style) and I can not effectively blow the second octave on it. I much prefer my Burke narrow bore.

give it 6 months and you will be comfy with it.
