The original. (1970)
Song 3 from the album-"Kristofferson"

~~This is for K.C.~~
"...feelin good was good enough for me..." ..........and him too apparently....

I hope you dig this one. Its special to me. More so than the popular cover versions. Janis did it well...but this one kinda makes me feel more-as much as I love Janis's version.

  • for me Kris' version far surpassed Janis Joplin's!

  • @mollymagoo1000 Dunno about that. I love Janis dearly. She means A LOT to me ,,,and many others. But,,,,,I do listen to Kris when I just want to mellow out and listen to the originals. Janis had her own special thing with whatever she did. She was unique and one of a kind- especially for her time. Her version can be over played a wee bit- but ,,,,i love her dearly. I thank YOU dearly for stoppin by and listening. PEACE to you. xx "Jen"

  • there is nothing to surpass. this is his song. and its best that way.

  • grateful dead did a pretty killin' version of this song too

  • Since the Grammys Nat Pub Radio has been all wet about Adele and her "Arrapuntigo (?)" on the word "you" in a song I've never heard. They then asked what jerks your tears? KK's version of his own masterpiece is the first thing that sprang to my mind.

  • Wonderful lyrics but the way he sings is so depressive ... Janis was definitely the best to me, she was full of life.

  • was this a live album? what's with the spoken intro?

  • love this tune!

  • Kris was absolutely shocked when Janis' version came out. But ironically they actually had a fling b4 she made it a hit!
