Album version of Part of The Queue written by Noel Gallagher.

LYRICS:
Suddenly I found that I`d lost my way in this city
The streets and the thousands of colours all bleed into one
I fall down, heaven wont help me
I call out, no one would hear
All of a sudden I`d lost my way out of the city
Stand tall, stand proud
Every beginning is breaking it`s promise
I`m having trouble just finding some soul in this town
The names on the faces in places they mean nothing to me
It`s all they can do to be part of the queue in this town
I fall down, heaven wont help me
I call, out no one will hear
There`ll be no tomorrow they say, well I say mores the pity
Stand tall, stand proud
Every beginning has broken its promise
I`m having trouble just finding my soul in this town
But I`ll keep on trying I keep on trying

  • what a fucking track.

the best track i ever heard oasis produce.

  • The sad thing about Oasis is they split up just as they released two of their best albums! I know what this sounds like, but it's a good song. Cigarettes and Alcohol is Get It On...so what?

I don't think the Stranglers will care too much.

  • @DannyMadFerIt

Agreed. Do a simple Google search- "part of the queue" oasis stranglers - see how many folk mention rip off, and how many reckon it was "inspiration".

While your at it, you could look up "Blinkered" too.

  • @Aliasinblack No. Next I'll be saying you should learn some terminology.

"Rip off" and "Inspiration" is not the same..

  • @DannyMadFerIt

I'd rather you did it, sonny Jim me laddie buck.

Next you'll be saying Oasis never ripped off the Beatles neither?

  • @Aliasinblack Go fuck yourself

  • @masterfullmat

    A rip-off from The Stranglers ?

  • stop talking about what it sounds like or what it reminds you of , take the song in for what it is

  • @bergman864 Have you heard all of their songs?

  • Magnificent arrangement on this. Great build-up and layering at the end.
