A tribute to a true champion.
A great father and coach.
Carl Wickstrand from Meriden CT and was a member and past president of the Meriden Motorcycle club. Carl was also an AMA referee. He started riding Enduros in New England in 1959. He won the New England Enduro championship in 1962 and NE Hillclimb championships 1966-1969. Carl was AMA National Hillclimb Champion in 1970 & 1973. Coached by the legendary Tom Paradise and Franko McGowen from Albany NY. All wins were aboard Triumph Motorcycles.

Excellent video of our former club president and good friend. It was always great watching Carl ride that Triumph up the hill. He made it look so easy. (Pete)
