Got a used unicycle (oldschool Schwinn 24 in) at the new year. Finally getting the hang with it but can't seem to rock with my left foot, only with the right.

im about six foot two and i want to learn hom to ride a unicycle. what size should i purchase
-
i find falling forward better because i land on my feet
-
I find looking forward (not down) and weight on the seat make me ride smoother (I'm still in my first week & clinging to walls in a hallway)
-
but when you fall fall backwards and catch the seat so it dosent rip your awesome dude
-
got that right, took me almost 1 month to master riding...

I'm a beginner, and I do find this instruction helpful, but I haven't seen any mention of what I found to be most important for getting started, and that's to sit HEAVILY on the seat. That's where the weight of the body has to be for any kind of stability or balance, and this is completely different from a two-wheeler, where the weight is on the pedals. Please, I invite comment from you more experienced riders. Thanks

Better to land on your butt than do a face plant.
