The satallites that google gets its images from don't fly directly over the south pole. The images of the poles are taken from an angle and therefore have to be reshaped to fit onto a global projection. This results in a black spot on the south pole. You idiot.
Google updates the images monthly so if you are checking this black spot out daily you are a complete idiot.

that hole is where all the stuff goes that people lose, housekeys and glasses and socks and money , that type of thing, and it got there to that hole with the orange boat, but the boat ran a bit aground, it was a really big wave that put the boat there. that is the boat which carried away all lost items. finally, the boat itself got lost. now we found it!
