This is, and has always been Nei, for mel. Speaking and singing of what he knows, what he's lived.
But the way he shares it with all of us is uncommon among most musicians.
He makes it easier to feel you know him a bit more as time goes by, or maybe more about helping you know yourself even more.
Peace.

Wow! I like to think I can lay on the B.S. with the best of 'em, but I just can't find the right words to describe how great Neil Young is . . . really glad I was on the earth around the same time as him . . . someday, you'll find . . .

This is beautiful. Life in a song. I am so dissapointed with the direction music has taken today. I'm talking mostly the pop, dance, get drunk and naked party pop music today - thus excluding artists like eddie vedder. But todays music - It is tasteless. It completely misses the point. There is no life changing music that reaches down and touches the deepest depths of your soul and spirit within.
This is one of his songs that imho is much better live! The one at msg (during the original tour) when the crowd responds to the chorus the first time is amazing!!!!! I highly recommend listening!

He wrote about my life and added great music.
My funeral music without competition.

That's a beautiful thought. I always wanted "Lay Down Your Weary Tune" by Bob Dylan, but I might just change my mind.
