  • Can I use my tone port as a soundcard?

  • @mostazo yes! It makes a great sound card. Set it up in your system preferences menu under "sound".

  • someone help me does a sound card make mic vocals sound clearer and more professional ?

  • @rockinjoe95 not exactly. The mic preamps within a sound card or more specifically, a USB or Firewire audio interface is what warms up the vocals to certain extents.

  • I REALLY! REALLY! NEED HELP! my band is about to record but we cant get this thing working! i have a imac and when i plug in the ux1 to my mac it says restart so i do and when it comes up it just says restart again its pissing me off i cant get it working for nothing please help!

  • @brandon3459 Update your Mac driver to 4.6.9. You can get it on the downloads page at the Line 6 website. that will solve your crash issues.

  • this was helpful just for the fact that I finally figured out how to play itunes through my external audio device!

  • Can you help me? I have 2 issues. One, I cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME get Line 6 Monkey to install on my Mac. I've tried downloading it, and I run the .pkg or whatever, and I do the whole agreement thing, etc. And it will ding and say "Successfully installed" however, when I click to run it, it makes me install it again...and again...and again. Neverending cycle, what do I do? I had my UX2 running on my PC, will I stll be able to use Pod Farm on my Mac if I ever get Monkey to work?? Thanks a bunch.

  • This was ridiculously helpful. Thankyou very very much.
