i think that we've all suffered the mysery and pain that comes from affairs of the heart. only bruce can put it into words that we can all relate to and make us feel like we weren't alone and he was our personal friend to help us through those tough times. god bless bruce springsteen.

This song is beautiful! It's right up there with with Badland, Thunder Road, Born in the U.S.A, and Born to Run. I think those songs are just a few of Springsteen's best!

If it wasn't for Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen I would have given up on all forms of music a long ass time ago. The Boss got me through the shit music of grunge, and through the last 10yrs of shit that's been pumped out. Songs like this and other greats are exactly why The Boss has been around for over 3 decades. Springsteen is a TRUE American and keeps it fucking REAL. To me he represents the working class that drives this country & he's not afraid to give "the man" the middle finger!

I think "Fade Away" was on The River Album, along with "Point Blank," another great song.
