Fello is a gestural instrument for electronic music.
The cello bow is equipped with sensors to measure the movements. This data is used to interact with sound and video processes while playing the cello.
The devices on the left side and the foot pedals can change or freeze the functions of the bow sensors.
This is a part of the concert I played at Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto at the end of my artistic residency there on 9th December 2011.
The beats are material for a new "Springintgut" album.
The Sensor Mappings are done with STEIM junXion.
