The Long Beach Police are known for keeping their "bad apples" and covering up for them at all cost. In this case, they made a huge series of tragic mistakes that they refuse to admit. One life is lost, but now all of Long Beach must fear the standard set that anybody can be a victim. Not to mention hundreds of Police Officers that must live with the reputation obtained by these bad apples. Contacting the politicians unless you're a multinational corporation is irrelevant. Please post the names of the officers that murdered Doug and hopefully some of us will do what's right.

All cops, even the nicest guy off duty have been transformed into scumbags mandated to violate civil rights in a heart beat. Just the Patriot Act alone...enforcement of such makes parties willing to act as agents of the rogue government all traitorous filth.

This is so awful, I had already lost my faith and trust in the police and this just solidifies my position. There is rarely any reason ever to call the police, it's better for neighborhoods to care of themselves than to call in law enforcement. Don't trust police to protect you, they are busy protecting themselves.

My husband and I were all said to purchase a condo at AQUA down town but due to how dangerous the cops ared all thson's life an, we backed out. I had fallen in love with LB before I saw what I have seen ...living in down town. I am terrifyed for my sons life and his young friends are terrifyed . The chief, mayor and the entire antorage ...are all in bed together to cover everything they do. This is the most dangerous city in California.
