i just ordered one in chrome moly.now im leaning on a competent gunsmith to do the install.im looking at scorehi.com to do the job for me.i heard a lot of good things about them here in san jose,ca.they also carry brakes of a different shape and of a different principle which i plan to install in my other weapon just to have variety.

This brake was originally designed for sniper-type rifles. Therefore, they are drilled for a .308 bullet. They can be reamed out for larger diameter bullets by a competent gunsmith. An AR-15 "Little Chubby" for .223 does exist. Be patient for an AR-10 brake. Your request directly to Rat Worx might be beneficial.

Thanks for showing the machining of the Big Chubby. I went to Ratworx.com and I was wondering what calibers can the Big Chubby be used for? I know the title says .308 but I was wondering if it can fit onto the barrels of .223/5.56 rifles?
