well, either way. they both arent that great at all. the best AV is yourself. Most of the virii people get are put on the PC by the idiot behind the wheel, and thats a fact. I have not used AV in years and in that time the only virii i have gotten were the ones i made myself. People try to put the blame on hackers for the virus on their box, this isnt the case. If a hacker wants you, he will exploit you. Long live metasploit!

I got McAfee free from my isp. McAfee gives good protection but it slows down my computer. I tied AVG and it suits my needs with out slowing me down.

AVG, ccleanr, zonealarm, and adaware together does everything that McAfee did for free and with out slowing me down much.
