Armagetron

Armagetron is a versus-puzzler based on the light-cycle races in the movie Tron.

The gameplay itself is a fairly common one. As you move, you leave a trail behind you. If you or your pponent hits your trail or theirs, you are out. The aim is to trap your opponent so they have to run into a trail while avoiding hitting a trail yourself.

Armagetron advances this tried and tested game however, with several additions. The first is multiple players, up to 22, can be in the arena at once. This makes for very hectic, crowded games, where pinpoint accuracy and timing are required to survive. There are also options to change how long the trails last. By default, the trails stay for ever, but they can also be set to disappear after a certain distance has been travelled. This makes games with many players less about trapping the opponents and more about tricking them, leading them to believe you will go one way and then cutting across their path and eliminating them.

Armagetron supports netplay, and apparently is quite well-populated, though I didn't explore this myself.

Hmm, kinda. It's a lot more in-depth and modifiable than the normal game of Snake though.

I had fun with this, just a shame I'm really, REALLY bad at it. Give it a try though. Next up is Melty Blood and then I have a few options I can follow, but keep sending ime tips.

I just downloaded and install this game but when i go on internet to connect to the server, playing other players online, it says my firewall blocked it from going on, how do i allow it to connect? and is it 100% safe? Thanks
