Remember they're not ALL knobs. Most of them are experienced marshals who cover several events every year. This event seems to attract alot of newcomers and it appears that Sweet Lamb is where most of them were!

Fair enough. I'll revise that - Sweet Lamb Marshals at that scene = all knobs!

There are many great marshals and I know the event couldn't run without them. But what they need to appreciate is that there would be no event without paying spectators either.

Excellent video, shows just how useless the marshals were.

Worst thing is that the marshals actually prevented the spectators from helping out. After the last bit on this video, they finally give up and let the spectators help, and within 15 seconds the spectators, who know EXACTLY what to do, have Mikko and Jarmo back on the move.

Honestly, this is what is going wrong with my country as a whole. Idiots and jobsworths have taken over. I know I sound like an old git here, but...
