This is an update of the '56-'58 Kagnew video which now omits most of the personal photos and adds more of the city and country ambiance. This is dedicated to all those who served in Asmara as well as their dependents (Kagnew Kids). We hope you enjoy the return trip and brings back into focus the wonderful memories of so long ago. --Allen Smith (058.2 Operations Co. "D" Trick), and daughter Karen Biastre.
@kagnew66 It has been interesting hearing from the many ex mountain men and women since we did the two videos. The thought that there would be over 5000 hits is stunning. Conclusion is that there were a lot of nice people over there. I do wish the Eritreans had a better government than what I understand they presently have. They are a kind people and deserve much better.
