  • The crash part destroys me

  • Am I the only one who thought that Titanic's time was longer than the others?

  • Ok, Shakespeare in Love is not a bad movie, but The Thin Red Line was the film that deserved all the awards that year, and I can't believe some shit like American Beauty won over The Sixth Sense

  • Pulp Fiction was better than both Forrest Gump and Shawshank Redemption

  • quinner111089: I think in general 1994 had some tough competition. Shawshank Redemption was AMAZING but Forrest Gump is as well. I agree that Raging Bull should've won...LA Confidential was really good but no contendor to Titanic even though its acting was far more advanced. Some Like It Hot---CLASSIC :)

  • It was edited with Final Cut Pro on a Mac G5.

  • great job. what editing suite did u use in completing this montage?

  • For me, the biggest Oscar travesty was Forrest Gump beating The Shawshank Redemption to the award. Other worthy winners would be Some Like It Hot (1959), LA Confidential (1997), Raging Bull (1980) & Goodfellas (1990)

  • What about Saving Private Ryan in '98. Shakespeare in Love was a great movie, but it was no SPR. I'm going to assume that Harvey Weinstein did a something to make sure any Miramax made movie finished on top.

  • It's by Ennio Morricone, obviously.

  • what's the music called, that starts at Dances with Wolves?

  • The music is from "Once Upon a Time in the West"

  • isn't that the music from city of joy?

  • The Gladiator scene gives me chills every time.

  • Great job! Thanks heaps! All About Eve is my fave! :)

  • Hell yes!

  • Firstly, neither Atonement nor There Will Be Blood were better than No Country. The former two had more flaws and the Coens did a better job directing, not to mention the screenplay and the cinematography was superior. Don't get me wrong I truly loved There Will Be Blood, but No Country deserved and earned the Oscar.

If you wanna talk about snubs, then you should mention Citizen Kane not winning in 1941.

  • Apocalypse Now is my faverite film of all time that should f won best picture.

  • grate job!!! Hi from argentina!!!

  • thank you for covering up that horrible WGN America logo at 2:36

  • Wow, thank you so much for putting this together (both parts). It was great to watch!

  • Wow i loved the face u started with No country then finished the scene at the end.

  • ironicly im only see these ones: kramer, titanic, forrest....but not the other ones... i´ve heard that borkebak should won and i didn saw it.................and duh i saw juno yesterday a good one

  • add slumdog millionaire for 2008
