  • what have you done to attach the cymble to that foot pedal?

  • @ashc1153 I attached an LP bass drum hoop cowbell bracket to the rod holding the bass drum beater.

  • nice playing, but the timps sound like shit.

  • @shaolinkungfu666

LOL! Thanks? usually timps don't record well. It might have been my playing... who knows.

  • It is rather pathetic to see people attempt to tear people down just to make themselves feel good about their pathetic existence. I am a graduate student in percussion at Yale University and I think that this was not weak at all. What I do think is that you are a immature piece of shit who needs to start attempting to better himself and quit trying to being down others to your ignorance. Go to hell.

  • You probably suck, and your taking it out on him! Fuck You!

  • @anfran05 O you are so mature...

  • As a timpanist who has virtually no experience on other percussion instruments I'd say you could hit the timps a little further away from the edge. As to sticks I suppose you might have to get some double-ended ones, and practice flipping them round without dropping them. Dangerous, though!

Your interpretation was good - and inspiring to the rest of us!

  • very impressed! linear and clean...BRAVO

  • @linguamortua Where did you find the music for this?

  • Thanks for all the constructive criticism. Note that the microphone used for this is from a camcorder and not say, a condenser mic. You are absolutely right, I should have worked out places to switch mallets... I was young and dumb. I don't see why placing the mallets on the head is so unfavorable? Did it make noise? Or is it some nit-picky aesthetic thing that you are into? Thanks for watching. Best wishes!
