Union Square Phillipsburg 4:30 pm

The 100+ year old Northampton Street Bridge over the Deleware River unites Phillipsburg, NJ and Easton, Pa. It's incredible traffic is due to the fact that the convenient more direct, newer alternative over route 22 costs 75 cents. As a result, thousands of cars divert from Route 22, wind through Phillipsburg's Union Square, drive into Easton and then wind their way back onto Route 22 for points west. This is a time elapse view of four hours in the life of that bridge.

P'burg is a trap for those who have no ambition in life or slowly lose it over time by being there. It once held the record (no joke) for having the greatest bar per square mile ratio. I used to live in Washington and any friend that I ever had from P'burg has moved on and done great things. It's a hole !
