Math educators at University hate reform math, she is talking about faculty of Ed Math instructors who are often nothing but psychologists & want to sub psych for math because they don't understand math. Socio-psycho-babble eng to create nothing but sociology and psych majors. Watch out for reform science & computer tech.

Psycho-babble ed research & socio-eng are really behind these changes. "Traditional math failed some kids" so lets dumb down until we have no failures & no one in eng medicine comp science arch science pharm etc. The new math caters to teachers who don't know math & lets have students self discover.

These educators are all talk. I was an Engineer student at UCSD and most of them are forgein nationals from Asia! American Students who take reform math all drop out of engineering. Especially when this reform math are taught to inner city kids and minorities which they prasie so much! I have yet to see a black or hispanic(which is sad!), at UCSD in Engineering, or any UC school, because most of them are asians which avoid reform math like the plague.

These board members are a fraud! Nobody is in Engineering because of reform math! There are countless Biology majors at UCSD and all around colleges in the U.S. that cannot get into Medical School because their reform math failed them, especially when they take calculus based physics, and used this reform(fuzzy)math to solve an algebraic expression! They drop out by the hundreds due to this reform math, because of educators like these who hijacked their education!
