Fanmade video made by me. A debate of which of these two 'legendary bands' was truely greatest. I love both groups but my favourite is Thin Lizzy.

Thin Lizzy had it all. If they were british or american they probably would have been as big as Led Zepplin

By the way my laptop thinks it's hands down a win for Thin Lizzy too.

Led Zeppelin were a great studio band but they were prone to some shockingly bad live shows - especially Mr. Page. In many ways Zep were a case of the Emperor Wears No Clothes.
Alongside Lynott, Gorham and Robertson's genius, where Lizzy's superiority is so glaringly obvious in on the drum seat. Bonham was a bombastic plodder. Downey had a heavy touch and a lighter touch, and he could swing.
Zep on their best night couldn't touch Lizzy on their worst. No contest. Not even close.

You can't compare a Band who made 7 songs and a band who wrote hits and played every song diffrent on every live..

Well first off you cant deny Zeppelin's greatness. But I personally prefer Thin Lizzy for a few reasons. First off Phil Lynott is a very charismatic frontman and had amazing writing capabilites, secondly the twin guitar lead of Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson, and Brian Downey is one of the most complete drummers ive heard and i think he should be placed right under the ranks of John Bonham
