Monday 23rd February
Muslim Youth: The Islam Factor
Description: A talk by Imam Ziaullah Khan on Muslim youth and how Islam plays a vital role in their lives. Imam Ziaullah Khan is Director of the Centre for Islamic Development in Halifax, Canada. He is also host of a local radio show Salam Halifax. Imam Ziaullah Khan is a speaker throughout Canada and Britain, as well as other countries.
Time: 7pm 9pm

Tuesday 24th February
Movie Screening Muhammad: Legacy of a prophet
Description: Tells the story of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who changed world history in 23 years, and continues to shapes the lives of more than 1.2 billion people. The film takes viewers not only to ancient Middle Eastern sites where the prophets Muhammad's (pbuh) story unfolds, but into the homes, mosques and workplaces of some of America's estimated seven million Muslim to discover the many ways in which they follow the prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) example.

The Noble Quran: A Manual for Muslims
Description: A talk explaining what the Quran is and the importance of the Quran in Islam. The talk will cover many aspects from what the Quran says to its application in life.

Thursday 26th February
Islam's contribution to the English language: English words of Arabic origin
Description: A talk about the links between Arabic and English by Mourad Diouri an e-Learning Lecturer in Arabic Studies in Edinburgh University.

Friday 27th February
Negotiating Diversity in a Shared Global Society: How Islam Accommodates the Other
Description: Sheik Jihad Brown is an American-born Islamic scholar based in Abu Dhabi. He's lectured and taught at various Islamic courses around the world.

Saturday 28th February
Islam & the Environment
Description: A contemporary talk about Islam and the Environment at the summit of Arthurs Seat. This is an exciting and novel talk, which involves a trek up Arthurs seat. There will also be a picnic with snacks and drinks during the talk.
Time: 11am 2pm
Venue: Arthurs Seat, meet outside common wealth pool at 11am
