  • Nice job on the lighting of course and I must say, the aging.

  • Thanks again IA, the weathering is done with a flat black/exhaust Aclad coloring.

  • When it comes to professional model builds or buildups, Simon is the man! Props to you Mr. Mercs!

  • Thank you kindly birdman!

  • Simon, we spoke about a year or so ago about The War of the Worlds Martian War Machine you had up on both your web page and Cultmans page. I'm in NE Florida and was asking you about pricing for a replica of your existing build. As a modeler from years ago, I felt that the detail you create in your approach was (is) the best I've ever seen. I'm still thinking about it, Simon! :) Maybe one day when I win Lotto, you'll finally get a call from me.

All the best to one of the very best,

    Jim

  • I do remember speaking with you, and I thank you for the kind comment on this build!

Lotto? God Man, I'm not that expensive!

  • Beautiful work with this kit. I was fortunate enough to see the original filming miniature on display at The Science fiction Museum and Hall of Fame in Seattle last year.

  • Wow, I love it......yes, I'll take it.

fantastic lighting.....SO real, and WHAT a series, I'm so surprised they haven't 're-made' it and ruined it as they nearly always do...............

  • Well BSG is an improvement over the original, but your right, they usually don't re-do classics very well, good comment!

  • Lucky man! I appreciate the kind comment! Small kit to detail, but a challenge! I lived in Seattle for many years, moved back to Florida prior to Paul Allen opening the Museum, plan on re-visting my old stomping grounds, like the Romper Room, when possible!

The museum is first on my list though!!
