These are 30 sec. snippets taken from ArootsAkoostik Music Festival, which takes place in northern Maine at Thomas Park, New Sweden. These should give a bit of an idea of what the festival offers and the quality and variety of music performed. The musicians travel from all over the state of Maine to participate. For them it's a chance to catch respected acts, connect with old friends - and make new ones. In an atmosphere of camaraderie , the musicians are fueled in such a way as to create remarkable sets of music. It's an event unequaled in the state. While showcasing tremendous talent all in one place, and providing a full day of great quality music - it's an event not to be missed. This years full day festival is August 7th, 2010. The event offers continuous music on two stages, from 10am until 8pm. Rain or shine.
