@katherinegonzales82 I too was told this in 2008 by my Mother, the difference between us is I listened to her and voted for McCain against my better judgement. That will not happen again and I am working on changing her mind this time around.

in 2008, my dad wanted me to vote for mccain because he was the dominant republican candidate, and ron paul was a third party candidate. my dad said that if i voted for paul then my vote would be wasted. i told my dad in 2008 that if i didn't vote for ron paul, the only presidential candidate i support, that only then, my vote would be wasted. RON PAUL 2012!!!!

If you want to vote for Ron Paul in 2012 make sure you vote in your state primaries otherwise he won't get on the ballot. We need him get him in by surprising the people in power. Hopefully their failure to be in touch with the american people will help us this time. Once they recognize he has a chance the fix will be in..Don't wait get him on the ballot in 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!
