シュールストレミング (スールストロミング、Surströmming)は、スウェーデンで食されている缶詰で、ニシンを塩漬けにし、缶の中で発酵させた漬物の一種である。シュールストローミ­ング、シュールストロミング、シュルストレミングという言い方もする。その強烈な臭いから、「世界一臭い缶詰」などと呼称されることもある。


うらたんでは缶詰博士の協力の下、ついにシュールストレミングとの接触に成功。

  • @joehabana "Why not fish?" No reason for a not, few people know but sushi isn't fresh fish, it's matured. A really early stage of fermentation and really tamed down, but it's fermentation.

  • @joehabana yeah! All the varieties of pickles around the world are good. Natto probably doesn't smell half as bad, but it is also very delicious. Kimchi smell will almost never leave the person. All the fuss only fires my interest in Surstomming.

  • @Riddledeedum i´ll try, the best things are fermented... Beer, Soy Sauce, Tabasco Sauce, Ginger Ale... why not fish?

  • @joehabana I LOVE fish. That doesn't mean I would try to eat herring that has been fermented for months...

  • @Drommalom cuz they love Fish... so, trying Rotten fish must be somehow cool? i dunno
