Brewing a batch of Porter. Recipe:

10 LBS Pale
0.5LBS Black Patent Malt
0.5LBS Caramel 40L
0.5LBS Caramel 80L
0.5LBS Chocolate
1oz Northern Brewer @ 60min
0.5oz EK Goldings @ 20min
1.0oz EK Goldings @ 10min
0.5oz EK Goldings @ dry hops (secondary for 4 days)
1x Wyeast #1098 British Ale

  • @nige4958 Just under 1.060. 1.058-1.059 to be exact. I usually run just under 80% efficiency. I'll have a bottle coming out to you for review when it's done. I'll also be sending a bottle of strawberry mead made from local missouri honey and locally grown fresh strawberries. It's still pretty young so it could stand to sit in the cellar as long as you can let it (1 year at least).
