TR3 secrets speedrun - Aldwych 17:12 part 1

Although long and tiresome, one of the more fun levels so far to run, and one of my favourite levels in the whole game. Especially after that buggy abomination called Thames Wharf.

See the part after lowering the drill and collecting the Solomon's Key. Backtracking and jumping through the whole is the cause. You see, when the level begins, the turnstiles are actually open. If you take the tunnel after the Solomon's Key (which you're supposed to do), you activate the trigger to close the turnstiles, as well as induce other changes in the level. I guess the changes are all done in one go to save flipmaps or something.

Seeing this reminds me of just how hard old Tomb Raider games were. Every place looks the same and you have to travel long distances back and forth. No wonder I could never beat it! lol

Aldwych is indeed a fantastic level, definitely one of the best in the game, its atmosphere alone is wonderful. I never really appreciated it, since it was another level I once deemed too hard and skipped every time xP But I finally did it, eventually :3 Great run! *goes to see part 2*
