hi, My advise is that you should definitely not use sand. Use repti carpet, tile or paper towels

@keatrobot Nothing will "happen" to her. It will be okay if you don't have one for her it is mainly used for shedding to moisten her skin.

i bet u could take a lighter and melt the edges of the door a bit, to make them more smooth. oh, could i maybe use peat moss or just paper towels?

hey i have a log hide i just baught and i have most of the stuff for it can you make a humid hide useing the loghide or what and a really need a answer

@TheBrandon2314 Yes, but I'd put some plastic wrap under the paper towel layer to help keep in more of the moisture, otherwise you'll wind up having to mist it a lot more than once per day.
