'Earth Browser' is a Pachube.app built in javascript to help browse Pachube.com feeds, displaying the realtime values of the search results distributed across the planet. Using the app, you can overlay new search results by changing bar colours and supplying new search terms. It's available at http://apps.pachube.com/earth_browser/ and this video shows how you might use it.
Supply a search term, a datastream tag, and a colour for the search results to be displayed. The 'scalar' values scales the z-value of the search results bars - i.e. how 'tall' they are on the globe.
As you add new search terms, change the colours (and the scalar if necessary) of the results in order to be able to distinguish them.
This video documents a search first for "electricity / watts" then "temperature / degrees" and finally "air quality / PM10".
Use the app at http://apps.pachube.com/earth_browser/ (requires Pachube login).
Built using Google Earth javascript API.
