@louiemind2000 yes it is great there, I am currently not there now as I am visiting family... there are many Filipinos working there, but they stay in their own camp area on the opposite side of where Marathon workers stay. Have you been there or visited?

@pinoypusa that's how it is in these oil rich countries, but this is in an encampment or compound. It does not even look like Africa inside there! You are correct in what you say, but include the late Bongo, and now Bongo's son in Gabon who hav corrupted it due to the oil rich lands and timber rich regions these countries share. It is possible to have a great time, especially in Gabon where I lived and worked for Marathon Oil for a number of years and I am just as happy at EGLNG

Had a Great time ? Excellent. Its amazing to know you had a great time in one of the world's most despotic, corrupt and dangerous countries, Equitoral Guniea, where Nguema the president has a reputation of killing thousands of people, where fear rules, where no democracy exists, where the president declared himself as a god on national radio. Where the blood of so many people cries from its land. Have a great time people.
