Thanks man. Bronson has been referenced by directors and fellow tough guy actors as being the baddest bad ass of them all. Who am I to disagree? He narrows out Lee Marvin who I think is one tough mother. There's an English film called Bronson starring Tom Hardy. I'm not 100% sure, but I think he named himself after Buchinsky.Physique wise Bronson can't be beat. From his coal mining background as you mentioned. He lived a ripe old age and didn't stop doing films. T/C friend.

- Buchinsky grew up in a tough PA mining town (earning $1.00 per ton of coal); speaking Polish (learning English as a teen); and, a boxer before he became an actor.
Il Brutto was a tough-guy whom ANY MAN would want to emulate (FUCK that punk, shane69999, who insulted you)!
As Gary Oldman said to Christian Slater in "True Romance," "Ya know what we got here...a muthafuckin' Charly Bronson!"
Even Quentin Tarantino knew "Charly" was tough!
Take care, Man! :)

In reality, Lord abhorred smoking and at his behest, the set of Hawaii Five-0 was smoke-free long before it was prohibited by law in public places. It was only allowed if it was written in the script which is why Kam Fong can be seen smoking a pipe or Danno a cigarette in the early seasons. More than likely, he did a "Clinton" on the show and didn't inhale.
