  • You're right, man, thank you. People should be more careful about posting the correct names of the songs.

  • @alsuz Yeah the Polish people that broadcast this were a bit confused I guess! lol. Actually I have seen many videos of Wynton in Europe and they often misspell the song title. I have another video of Wynton playing Embraceable and the producers titled it as the Jelly Roll Morton song Courthouse Bump. Not only that, they called it Courthouse Dump!! Haha

  • The title of this song is "Highrise Riff", Wynton's own composition, as in the subtitle, not "Embraceable You". You have a great channel though. Congrats.

  • @alsuz Actually it is Embraceable You. Highrise Riff is a completely different song. Listen to it on Itunes. I know it may say HighRise Riff but many songs of this concert were mis-titled. Glad you enjoy the channel!

  • @valvetrom Dosent sound like a Trumpet? You must have never heard Wynton before. This is his tone on most ballads. I think this recording captures it very well.

  • @mmaybrown dude, I just cried a bit on his solo. I can really feel the music.

  • @kingoliver45 this isn't Embraceable you, this is Highrise riff. and the thing he did after the sax solo is a type of lip bending or tounge bending. But you are right about one thing- he is a fantastic musician and a legend

  • @valvetrom yeah you do have a glitch.

You should fix it though, he sounds impeccable.

  • I love that Monette Ajna!

  • @valvetrom Yeah I would check Wynton out then your speakers. lol. I mean its not HQ but this is Jazz music who cares about shit like that? Its the music that matters not the sound quality. You could say King Oliver didnt have a good sound cuz he recorded alot of stuff acoustically or Louis Armstrong didnt in the 20's & 30's but that would not be an accurate statement.

  • @mmaybrownAre you kidding me? I honestly think this is the best solo ive ever heard on Embraceable. Its like hes talking. Things like 3:37 - 3:59 the whole thing is a story. Yeah somebody could run a bunch of bullshit licks over these changes but few could tel a story like this (or would choose to anyway). And Wes solo is killin too. Obviusly Charlie Parker influenced. And what Wynton plays when he comes in after Wes solo? Damn! Iv never heard ANY Jazz musician (maybe Bird) play anything like it
