Because the children are putting his ownership of the park at risk by printing about Duneedon, and the park is the only place on Earth with Veronium, adurrrr! He can't just dig it out of the ground, being elected Mayor, constructing an elaborate conspiracy and rewriting history is the only logical way.

I loved this show back in the day as a kid does anyone remember the show that was based in a mall and after everyone leaves there is a guy with a hat that comes alive im can't think of the name of the show
