  • Thank you for backing up my theory on using a zoom for portraits and close ups! I have been using mine ( which I love.) and recently had a photo published in a calendar. As you say, the purists will say to use a macro or prime for these shots, but i simply don't tell them I used a zoom. They didn't seem to notice or care,..lol
