My brother-in-law is a retired US Navy fighter jock (I'm a retired Surface Warfare Officer) and my sister bought him a ride in this thing for his 60th birthday. That's been about ten years ago now, and as I recall it was around $400 then. From what I understand, the "aggressor" pilot kind of got agitated from having his tail repeatedly greased by someone with comparable if not superior skills. Some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you.

Thought the enemy plane had some sistem to detect it was hit, a laser pointer stuff may be.

when he say "good smoke" he means that the "hitted" plane was a good pilot cuz he understood that he was under enemy fire ,ergo he used the smoke to flag "i have been hitted" :D
