WONDERFUL! I love your insights and I'm looking forward to my own death (many years from now I hope!) when God will explain quantum mechanics to me... and I'll actually completely UNDERSTAND it all!

This is one of my favorites. I've not experienced an NDE, but as a doctor and a brain scientist, I've seen and heard so much. I have NO DOUBT that these are genuine experiences. There is no scientific explanation... and I cannot imagine how there ever could be.

You are correct - those who say they are brain function events acknowledge that they cannot explain almost EVERY aspect of an NDE. There are many reasons that an NDE can NOT be a brain event. Nope.

Love your videos!

Thank you for your kind words, I am glad you posted here. Yes, near death experiences are very real, and exactly as they appear to be. Soon all will know that. Love to you.

As a nobody with gradually increasing aspirations of going to medical school, I haven't seen and heard enough.

Can you expand on your reasons for or against a strictly medical explanation of NDE's? And if you get a spare 30 seconds, could you expand on how hard medical school was?

Sweet.

Everyone is important, and worthy. There aren't any nobody's. If you wish to go to Med School do so out of love and wanting to help others. Not for the money. NDEs are real spiritual experiences, research at several universities have proven that. You can find that research on my site or blog. It is under the FAQs section, Q & A -- 28.

Lekatt1 - love your blogs!

Today, anyone who thinks they will go into medicine to make lots of money is INSANE! Hehe... managed (mangled) care has been destructive to GOOD patient care... and to the ability to pay off student loans in less than 20+ years!

But you know what? I've helped so many people and it's so rewarding. My heart is full of a collection of souls who have touched my life... and whom I was able to help and give comfort to. And I volunteer a LOT.

The rewards are GREAT

Hi, RCRhythm! (use that rhythm as a technique for memorizing the VAST amount of info you'll have to memorize!)

I believe NDEs are true spiritual experience - I am not a religious fanatic.

1) NDEs change people for the better for life - no hypoxia does that

2) the patients accurately describe things they could NEVER know otherwise

3) under general anesthesia, ALL consciousness is SHUT DOWN - some NDEs occur then

4) I've seen too much of death to not believe these - it is beautiful
