Motorola Defy - Hands On Preview

Motorola this morning revealed their hard-as-nails Defy handset. Dust and scratch resistant as well as waterproof, Tech Digest went hands on with the Android 2.1 smartphone.

Packing in Motorola's Motoblur UI, the 3.7 inch capacitive touch phone looks set to please those whose busy social networks lead to drunken gadget bashing parties. It's all the rage in the "Skins" scene we hear these days.

Can anyone help me? I'm from Western Australia. Im looking for the Motorola Defy, all black, on the Optus network. In store, Optus keep telling me it doesnt come in all black version. I know it does though. Where can I get the black one on the Optus network? I know you can.

@theintoxcator Its clocked at 800mhz on Froyo, however its very overclockable and its been said that the Gingerbread release will put the clock to 1ghz.

wish it had a temp sensor too....instead of temp widget which uses internet to sense out the temp....from now on, phone developers should take care of this thing also....anyways, this 1 is KICK ASS phone..!!
