I have not heard of Makotokai or this fine instructor. He is excellent. I would like to know where he teaches.

Well instructor is Fulvio icantrememberhissurname. He's teaching in Trieste as Bolaffio's main student.

i was on this seminar this year(2009) and it was awesome. I also completed the exam for the black belt 1st day the fights were just amazing :):)

This looks really good! It's clean, fast fluid and simple. Probably one of the best karate kumite vids I've seen on youtube.

makotokai is the best of karate styles. i also tried shotokan and sankukai, but they r not even 1% as good as makotokai. if u have black belt in makotokai, u r untouchable (unlike in many other fighting technmiques)

Makotokai Karate is a system created from Shotokan. As you can see is a contact Karate. One of its principles is "to retrieve the energy" and is very interesting. They practice with "sonkey", gentleness even if it seems not possible. You can find more info on the Makotokai site. Bolaffio Sensei is italian but he travel worldwide for the Makotokai development
