LPGA Player Erica Blasberg Passes Away at Age 25

This is certainly not the kind of story I wanted to return with here at Pro Golf Now, after being away the past week due to a massive flood around the Nashville area, but weve got some bad news to pass along in the golfing world. Erica Blasberg, a player on the LPGA Tour, has passed away at the age of 25.

Blasberg played college golf at Arizona, and though she wasnt a full-time player on tour, she did finish tied for 44th at the Tres Marias Championship a few weeks ago.

There arent many details at this point, but you dont need details right now to realize just how sad this is. Its never easy to understand why a person at such a young age passes away, and that case is no different here. Things like these dont make sense, and well have to wait for the details to be able to try to comprehend a situation like this.

My thoughts and prayers go to her friends and family in these difficult times.

@macdaddy1600 yes it was confirmed a few months later that she did indeed commit suicide the doctor that had come to check on her actually HID evidence to protect the"parents" as he wanted to spare them the heartache of knowing that she did intentionally take her own life..  The Doc had removed a suicide note and the plastic bag she used to asphyxiate herself into death

Why would a pretty girl like Erica Blasberg want to kill herself ??? Suicide ??? Sounds like an inside job to me.Who is this Dr.Thomas Hess ??? What type of medications was he giving her ??? What type of medications were found in her at the time of her death ???

H8ISGR8 aka HATEISGREAT is trying to get the anger out of everyone here to feel like him, poor guy, was probably disregarded as a child and parents abandoned him, had a miserable life and now as an 'adult' tries to bring the rest of the world down to his level. You can only hope that this poster gets his mind together before turning into a very sick old man.
