@bladrunner6 Totally agree, Thunderball is amazing and omg the best babes in near on fifty years of Bond. The ginger pussied chick is fuckin hot with massive tits and Domino is so horny with those sexy eyes of hers.

I saw Thunderball a few years back after about 15 to 20 years gap and I was amazed at how incoherent the editing was. The whole movie has this feeling of just jumping from one scene to another without creating any kind of overall sense of reality. With Young as director and Hunt as editor, it's hard to believe. Was pressure put on them to throw the picture together in a way that emphasised every gadget, set, location, expensvie shot regardless.

Easily the greatest bond movie. Also, the gadgets are not lazy storytelling, without them it wouldn't be a Bond film, and compared to the later films, Thunderball's use of gadgets is pretty conservative.

I just watched this one after decades and it struck me as one of the most overly-dubbed films in history. What happened to the sound guys during this shoot? Everyone sounds like they are standing in front of a microphone in a studio. Really detracts from some of the outside shots.

your friend over voice guy got it wrong the next film after thunderball is you only live twice and lazenby is nothing like the book

Thunderball is the best!!! so don't diss it. A beautiful location, gorgeous babes and an intriguing villan. For me, it's the best Bond. Real panache, witt and action...

Much better than siskel and ebert.
We were facinated with gadgets back then. All of this 'stuff' was very novel. Remember this was 20 years before personal computers and the like.

I know. I try to watch with that mindset, but I see the gadgets as lazy storytelling. That's just personal opinion, though.
