@mese1 @mese1 You'd be wrong then. PC desktops are more widely used in business by far, that's just the statistics of it. Ipads are certainly very popular with professionals though.

@dfjohn07 Seems like people are assuming a lot about each other in this thread. I don't own a Mac because I like to play video games and I have the ability to build a better computer for far less money. I could afford a Mac, we have a couple at work and I'm fairly familiar with them, but I can customise a PC however I like and choose my own components. A Mac would be wasting money to someone like me, there is no added benefit.

@mese1 Ahahaha walk into any corporation and see what percentage of them are using Macs. Mac is popular in creative professions as it has a lot of good programs for music, video and graphic design but your statement is dumb. Mac is not the most widely used by professionals.

Gah, looking at this whole string I could say that to most people here, Mac and PC users you're both getting so much information wrong. Seriously the Mac users seem to know nothing about computers in general so think they're getting a better deal because their computers are baby-proofed and that PCs are just cheap junk with BSOD and viruses 24/7, the PC users know nothing about Macs so assume that they lack certain functionality without knowing anything about them.

@vancar6 It's impossible to say that Macs are quality and PCs are crap because a PC can be made of any number of components of whatever quality the builder chooses. A PC is not a ready-made standard package, they vary. To say that they're cheap pieces of crap just shows that you don't know what you're talking about. I have nothing against Macs, they're fine if too expensive and I don't like Apple as a company, but don't be so ignorant. Learn something before you sound off in a public forum.
