  • I love this song... I first heard it up in Boston at my sisters College Dorm. in the late 60's early 70's. Can you believe it...2011 and still the same stupid Wars being fought over dumb crap!!! People dying for nothing, over land, water, boarders, leadership and Poon-Tang! When will Man/Woman-kind ever learn from our mistakes! Like Homer Simpson stickin' a fork into a toaster repeatedly!!! Such a powerful song. War doesn't determine who won...War determines who's left!

  • This was one of the shows from Summer of 1974. Myself and some friends saw them at Mile High. Great show. Jesse Colin Young and The Beach Boys opened for them. I was so young then. I'm younger than that now...

  • What a job these guys have , They look like they are having a good time I wonder how much an hour they made ?

  • steven stills is great at fusing rock with jazz riffs. He is one of the greats!

  • stills is wearing a louisiana state police shirt

  • @Evelyn2ish I saw the same show in Milwaukee's baseball stadium. I went with my older brother from Detroit to see this. I still have pictures of them. Times have changed a bit since then, huh?

  • I saw them this tour in Hampton Rhodes at ODU stadium. All 4 of them. It was the best concert I've ever been to.

  • War meine allererste LP Wenn ich sie heut höre hab ich Tränen in den Augen.Nie wieder gab es so tolle Musik

  • that an the anorexic nash

  • who won your war? hey, who lost their liver you sinner oops! i mean that really cheesed this vid.

  • @Evelyn2ish i have a CSNY concert poster from 74 with the band joe walsh the beach boys jesse colin, best 10$ i ever spent in my life

  • @aholmes99 But..... "Don´t touch anything....the minor change"..........atte Abraham Simpson.

  • I saw them the first time they played live and D Crosby apologized and said they would get better. And of course, they did.

  • Tax Strike!

  • Stills, Nash, & Crosby's guitars.

  • @aholmes99 - I spent most of my life in Colorado. Back in the 70s, some people I knew were hiking in the mountains around Boulder. A Jeep with some burly types pulled up to them and told them they were on Stephen Stills mountain and to leave. Funny how that works.

  • @aholmes99 I'll tell you when we will stop fighting each other - when some alien race that looks totally different from us starts some crap and we HAVE to pull together to keep from going out for good. It's such a shame, but that's the case.

As far as this song goes... sorry, but it sounds like most songs from the sixties - Yoko Ono inspired cacophony. Kids in music stores play guitar better than Stephen Stills... It's amazing how drugs can make something sound good, huh?

  • IM 43 and missed my favorite decades 60 70's music speaking and the aura. I was a 70's child now all these great guys are heading into their 70's. And all these young bands...there is none. Phish they were ok in 1990. Nirvana gone. Goodbye future music

  • I like the Stills-pissed-off-at-guitar tech around 2:05... a true pro rides on through!

  • If War solved problems: in all the years "man kind" has been on earth, and made war on others, would not all of our problems be solved already? "So let it be."

  • @aholmes99 yes!

  • @BENGOTHEBOXERPUPPY, I was there too. That was Wembley Stadium. It was in September and NO RAIN. Remember that was first time they got together in several years.

It was a beautiful day and I was on the field.

The Band also played and Joni Mitchell played with the Tom Scott Band - Her Jazzy stuff - incredible. It was all just so perfect.

Remember Joni sang 1 or 2 songs with CSNY.

    Later

  • @Evelyn2ish must of been a great concert. I sorry I missed it. Did make CalJam1 in 74 though.

  • u fuckers omg!!

  • Saw them on this tour in Toronto Varsity Stadium . First ever concert promoted by " CPI " . " Dusty Cohl " and this outfit would transform concert production forvever packaging great acts like the Stones and most others ( enigmatic Cohl appears briefly with the Stones before their Beacon theatre concert as part of Scorcese's " Shine A Light " . They would homongenize it a little too much for my liking. Loved The Band and the incomparable Rick Danko.

  • @aholmes99 Well said! I too am one that has wondered why we humans just do not ---get--it! You mention learn from our mistakes..I do not believe we do,... as there are too many factors in our development that negatively impact our evolution such as the power--elite..
