Mogadishu, capital of the Somali Republic,The Sad City, once a safe and beautiful city destroyed by hate and a bloody and bitter civil war. Sky and land view of the former "Pearl of the Indian Ocean" shot during the infamous "Operation Restore Hope", 1993.

To the ugliest city In the whole world today.

Thats a shame , and we cant blame the outside world ,, WE SOMALIS RUINED IT .

Somali youth today, the ones that were born in the late 1980's and early 1990's never got to see the beautiful peace Mogadishu, and when i hear the older generation say they hate a certain Somali tribe it makes me sad, Real Somalis young or old, the ones who love Somalia and its people, those Somali dont see tribes, they see their brothers and sisters and those are the ones who want peace. Aisha, when you say you hate hawiye, you are helping our enemies who want us to hate each other.

@Mogadishian yep i was born and raised in a western country and now i live in egypt and i never been there and i go to school..fool,my granfather barre never destroyed anything my orignial granfather lived there and they rold us stories since then...you hear the news "fool"
