one of my favorites.

God does not equal religion. That is not what God wants. If you were to base your idea of God on a religious system, I can understand why you would be inclined to reject Him. But it wouldn't be an accurate representation. But I suppose it doesn't matter, because it seems like so many have made their minds up to not believe He even exists, which is the most laughable thing to me. Instead they believe that we all miraculously came from a rock a looong time ago. Talk about there being no evidence.

I am fascinated by Spinoza's pantheism, but admire even more his contributions to modern thought because he is the first philosopher to deal with the soul and the body as one, not two separate things." Albert Einstein, Brian, op. cit. p. 186.

"I can't answer with a simple yes or no. I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is.

"My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior Spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble minds. The deeply emotional conviction of the presence of a superior reasoning Power, which is revealed in the incomprehensible universe, forms my idea of God." Albert Einstein.
