"wait, this team is all guys." joe said to me.
"i was on the boys league. i couldnt find a girls league." i said while i shrugged.
"yeah and im glad she joined the team. we wouldnt be the best without her." the same guy said.
"oh really now? and whats your name?" joe asked the guy questinally while tighting his grip around my sholders.
"its jacob. nice to meet you." jacob said. (AN: yeah i got it from twilight. i couldn't think of a better name so yeah. its jacob. and yeah. sorry if it sounds alittle twilighty but i was just read the series AND ITS THE BEST EVER! anyways, back to the story.)
"uh huh. same to you..." joe tailed off while not taking his eyes off of jacobs.
"joe..." i said while struggling to get from under joes arms. his tight was getting alittle to firm.
"what? are you ok? are you hurt?" joe asked me while he put his hands on my sholders so i was facing him.
"no. your grip was getting ... uncomfortable." i said trying not to sound mean.
jacob laughed alittle.
"shut up." i said while smiling and lightly punched jacob on his upper arm.
"ow. abusive much?" jacob said while laughing harder.
joe was actually looking jeolous. wow.
"hey britt, do you wanna go get dinner sometime? i kno this awesome restraunt just down the street." jacob asked me.
"uhm... i dont kno." i said while looking at joe.
joe had this strange look on his face. almost strained kinda. he looked down at me.
"i uh- have to... make some calls. bye." he said and with that he just.. left me. i looked at jacob.
"sure. lets go get something to eat." i told him. his face lit up and took my hand and pulled me toward the door.
"wait. let me talk with maraia for one second." i said while i pulled my hand away from his.
"oh hey britt! thanks again for saving me and maraia. i owe you big time." nick said to me.
"no. im the one who got you in the position. if anything, i owe you big time. but could i talk to maraia privately for one moment?" i asked nick.
nick walked away to talk to kevin.
"so hows things with joe going?" maraia asked me while nudging me in the arm.
"its going nowhere. besides, im going out with jacob right now for some dinner." i said.
"WHAT?! ARE YOU INSANE?! YOU TURNED JOE FREAKING JONAS DOWN FOR SOME GUY ON YOUR OLD HOCKEY TEAM?!" maraia started screaming at me. people were staring and nick and kevin were the worst. their eyes burning through me.
"wait... is jacob the cute one with the swishy hair?" maraia asked me.
"yupp. but quite next time please! now all 3 jonas boys hate me." i said. while nodding my head toward nick and kevin.
"oh. sorry. well.. HAVE FUN ON YOUR DATE WITH JACOB!" maraia said yelling and facing nick and kevin while giving the go-get-joe-and-make-him-follow-me-and-jacob-to-make-sure-nothing-happens-and-try-to-win-over-my-heart look. great. today will never end.
