( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan and the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon can both venture off-road into the Colorado Rockies, but one of these vehicles is certainly more capable of taking on the rough stuff, and of course of these vehicles is better on the road, and of course one of these cars is faster 0-60. So which one is the better, faster, on-road and off-road. We put these two cars to the test in the 0-60 Off-Road Mashup Review. Check out this video. You mighty be surprised by the results.

  • best offroad in the world? please get aquintance with Mr Land Rover and Mr G-Klass or say something to Mr Pajero.

How come we never heard about jeep on the Paris Dakkar competition? ohh it starts in europe, realy not anymore and we still did'n heard about you guys!!!

  • @pbrinzei That's funny because the Jeep was around and driving off-road way before the Paris Dakar, the Pajero, the Land Rover and of course the G Class...making it the oldest and many would say the best off-road brand/car in the world.

  • There is no doubt that Jeep is a better off-roader. But, something that surprised me was the statement made by Roman that his choice to go off-road with Tiguan was using the sport mode. I believe he knows that the DSG gear box can be handled manually very well, since it is in fact a manual gear box...look at the + - sings on the right side of the letter "D".

  • @rkhrahmani Thanks for your thoughtful comments, but there's really no replacing a manual gearbox off-road. The Tiguan's gearbox, for instance, won't hold a gear but will upshift automatically when the revs get too high. In the dirt I want complete control of my gears.

  • Good reviews with interesting SUVs. I like that in the last few vids it seems like Roman and Nathan are actually friends. Just 2 guys talking and having fun with cars, not the "Roman show" where Nathan is just there for comedic "can he fit" effect.

You guys might actually be gelling into the best youtube auto reviewer show.

(Well second best. EVO youtube channel reviews Pagani Zondas'. No one can compete with that :) :) )

  • @pbrinzei The only place I see the LR and G Class is at the mall.

  • @jonajs98 Absolutely not, it is a Jeep. The Tiguan is definitely the better vehicle.

  • Is the Wrangler any good on road?

  • The jeep might be the oldest but the land rover is the best

  • Toyota Jeep any day of the week

  • @pbrinzei Search this "An Epic Adventure: The Australian Outback's" Seven G-Class trek across the outback. 5 out of 7 have shock failure, plus a long list of other broken parts. I've never heard of LR or G-Class in the Dakar either. Bowler doesn't count those aren't even on an LR chassis. Jeep let a fleet of new Wranglers loose on the Rubicon Trail driven by novice automotive journalists. I've seen some other SUVs make it down the trail but not stock and not driven by novices.

  • Awesome vehicle. Meaning the Wrangler.

Would love to see a Rubicon vs FJ Cruiser battle.
