The Georgia Weatherization Assistance Program: Celebrating 10,000 Homes

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) and Southface are excited to announce that more than 10,000 homes have been weatherized in Georgia through the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) with funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The WAP, which helps low-income families reduce their energy bills through energy efficiency retrofits, is managed by GEFA and supported by Southface and the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension.
