Bill always introduced Kenny Baker as "The finest fiddler in bluegrass music." Aside from Kenny's superlative fiddling on this tune, Bill demonstrated how he was a master of playing the mandolin. Even though he was mostly strumming, he was a master of right hand technique, varying the rhythm subtly. Most mandolin pickers are stuck in a straight up down motion.
