The Israelis opened fire with paintball guns! Only when the Gazans attacked and attempted to brutally kill as many Israelis as possible, did the soldiers fight back. The raid was entirely justified. Gaza should not be allowed the weapons they are using to kill innocent Israeli citizens. Israeli sends 400 humanitarian trucks into Gaza every day. Gaza do not need external aid.

@bingbing207 Gaza is not undersiege. There is a blockade on its port to prevent missiles to come in, which later would have been fired on innocent Israeli civilians. Gaza economic growth is tramendous. The ship could have borded ashdod or egypt so the containers (Which held no humanitarin aid) would be checked first to see if there are any rockets. They broke the blockade so the israelis borded the ship and were attacked.

Those sling shots, or wrist rockets, are actually pretty powerful. I used to have one and if you got hit in the face it would hurt pretty bad. Of course, I never got to use mine on any human, but if I ever got the chance to, my first choice of who to use it on would be an Israeli soldier.

not to mention that the whole thing was according to the international law. israel enforced the naval blockade as the law says it should, including being able to enforce the blockade on the high seas.

you want to see what the UN is made off? look for "UN watch" - lybia, china, saudi, sudan and syria are members of honor in the human rights council.

@DrStrangebomb1993 some people just can't read a sentence all the way to the end (or look in videos). the soldiers who raided the ship from the helicopters and first boat attempt had, and were briefed to use paintball guns in case of violence, with 9mm pistols as sidearms in case things go really bad.

only 2 minutes after the first soldier landed, was stabbed and critically wounded (by that time there were at least 3 wounded, 2 critically), the soldiers decided to use their sidearms.

@kidi1232 What deeds? If some unknown force attacks your ship at night, your logical reaction is to grab whatever improvised weaponry there is and defend yourself. The IDF behaved like pirates and were treated accordingly...
